Biography
My name is Drew Smetana. I have worked in the Clark County Jail for over 30 years. I am currently focused on recruiting for Clark County Jail Services.
During my time with the Clark County Jail, I have been involved in numerous ancillary duties. They currently include being an active member of the Peer Support team, the vice-president of the Corrections Guild, Crisis Intervention team member, and a board member for the Washington State Corrections Officer Certification Hearings Panel.
I have also been part of the Police Activities League (PAL), a field training officer (FTO), Security Response Team (SRT), a notary, and Board of Inquiry panel member (BOI).
I was recognized as Officer of the Year Award in 2009. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon.
During my off time I like to see the world.
